Abstract

FOR FORMING A THROMBO, A PULMONARY PISTON, AN ARTERIAL THROMBON AND A CORONARY THROMBON". Method in which a radiolabeled compound is located in a thrombus. Two-dimensional images, which represent a physical property associated with the radiolabelled thrombus, are obtained and assembled in a three-dimensional data matrix. The three-dimensional data matrix is then examined over a set of parallel lines, to determine the maximum value on each line. The maximum value in each line then receives a pixel in a two-dimensional set, where the relative position of the pixel in the two-dimensional set corresponds to the relative position of the line in the set of parallel lines.
