Abstract

"MóDULO DE LEITORA DE CARTãO MOTORIZADA". é descrito um módulo de leitora de cartão motorizada (14d). O módulo (14d) possui um sistema de transporte (22, 26) que é operável para transportar um cartão (30) para dentro do módulo de leitora de cartão (14d) de uma maneira para/começa até que o cartão (30) esteja totalmente englobado pelo módulo de leitora de cartão (14d) e depois disso para transportar o cartão (3) de uma maneira contínua de modo que uma tarja magnética no cartão (30) possa ser lida de forma precisa por uma cabeça de leitura (24) no módulo (14d),mas não por uma cabeça de leitura de uma terceira parte localizada fora do módulo (14d0). Um método para impedir fraude em um SST e um SST possuindo um módulo de leitora de cartão motorizada também são descritos.
