Abstract

"MéTODOS PARA SIMULAR PELO MENOS UMA CARACTERìSTICA DE UM SISTEMA FìSICO E PARA PREDIZER A CARACTERìSTICA DE UM SISTEMA FìSICO CONTENDO MúLTIPLOS FLUIDOS". é provido um método para simular pelo menos uma característica de um sistema físico. O sistema físico é separado em uma pluralidade de células volumétricas (201-215) tendo limites entre elas. Uma estimativa inicial de variáveis de estado é atribuída para cada célula. Para cada célula, equações lineares são construídas relacionando suas variáveis de estado com as variáveis de estado das células adjacentes a ela. Um valor de transportabilidade é associado com cada limite e os limites são ordenados correspondendo a valores de transportabilidade descendentes. As ordenações de limite são usadas para construir topologicamente fileiras de células unidimensionais (50, 51), Uma equação de matriz para cada fileira é construída agrupando-se as equações lineares associadas com as células para cada fileira. Estimativas melhoradas das variáveis de estado das células são determinadas resolvendo-se as equações de matriz. Estas variáveis de estado são então usadas para simular pelo menos uma característica do sistema físico.
