Abstract

''MéTODO DE TRANSMISSãO DE DADOS EM UM SISTEMA DE TELECOMUNICAçõES, E, SISTEMA DE TELECOMUNICAçõES'' A invenção relaciona-se a controle de fluxo em transmissão de dados em sistemas de telecomunicações, particularmente em sistemas de telecomunicações sem fios. Na presente invenção, informação de controle de fluxo é canalizada através de uma perna de conexão (lu) que não suporta controle de fluxo em uma camada de protocolo de transmissão inferior (ATM) subjacente a um nível de usuário (LAC). Os nós (RNC, 3GMSC) em ambas as extremidades da perna (Iu) são arranjados para usar a informação de controle de fluxo para controlar o fluxo de dados no nível de protocolo de transmissão inferior (ATM) da perna. Em outras palavras, a transmissão de dados novos no nível de protocolo de transmissão inferior (ATM) é cessado ou a taxa de dados diminuída quando a informação de controle de fluxo ativa o controle de fluxo no nó de transmissão, e semelhantemente, a transmissão de dados novos no nível de protocolo de transmissão inferior (ATM) é reiniciada ou a taxa de dados aumentada quando a informação de controle de fluxo levada desativa o controle de fluxo. A necessidade de controle de fluxo pode ser reconhecida do estado de memória temporária de recepção no nível de protocolo de transmissão inferior ou de informação de controle de fluxo de chegada recebida através da perna seguinte da conexão da direção de ligação inferior.
