Abstract
<B>PRENDEDOR ROSQUEADO INTERNAMENTE DE TORQUE PREDOMINANTE E MéTODO PARA FABRICAR O MESMO<D> A presente invenção destina-se a um prendedor de autotravamento rosqueado internamente do tipo torque predominante que utiliza uma pastilha de material termoplástico fundido como elemento de travamento e que satisfaz os requisitos funcionais de torque tanto de IFI 100/107 (1987) como de IFI 101 (1987). De acordo com a presente invenção o prendedor compreende um corpo metálico com um orifício que se estende até as suas extremidades opostas, o orifício tendo uma superfície rosqueada; uma pastilha de material polimérico aplicado e fundido a uma porção da superfície rosqueada e o prendedor satisfazendo as características de torque predominante especificadas tanto em IFI 100/107 (1987) como em IFI 101 (1987). A invenção destina-se também a um processo em que um prendedor rosqueado internamente é processado em primeiro lugar pela aplicação e fusão de um material de resina polimérica a pelo menos uma porção da superfície rosqueada do prendedor e em seguida pelo condicionamento das propriedades friccionais do prendedor de modo que as características de desempenho de torque predominante satisfaçam tanto IFI 100/107 (1987) como IFI 101 (1987).
