Abstract

"SINCRONIZADOR". Um sincronizador do tipo de anel de travamento (18) para friccionalmente sincronizar e positivamente conectar engrenagens (14, 16) a um eixo (12). O sincronizador inclui superfícies de embreagem cónica (24, 48) e (26, 50) que são contatadas por uma força de troca pelo operador e meios limite (54, 56) produzindo uma força contrária para diminuir a quantidade de força de troca pelo operador transmitida para as superfícies de fricção de embreagem em resposta ao torque de sincronização exceder uma quantidade predeterminada.
