Abstract
Patente de Invenção: <B>"CORANTES DE SAIS IÈNICOS COMO CAMADAS EMISSORAS TERMICAMENTE ESTáVEIS E DE TRANSPORTE DE CARGA EM DIODOS EMISSORES DE LUZ ORGâNICA"<D>. A invenção modifica e converte moléculas de corante neutras (D) em sais iónicos (D-A^ +^ X^ -^ ou DA^ -^ X^ +^), e os emprega como camadas emissoras ou de transporte de carga em diodos emissores de luz orgânica (OLED's). Isto é realizado pela junção dos substituintes ionizáveis (A) na molécula do corante durante a síntese inicial, e em seguida reagindo isto com um agente apropriado que contém íons de balanceamento de carga (X). Estes compostos iónicos podem ser depositados como películas amorfas usando técnicas de evaporação convencionais. Em adição, são estáveis a cristalização por meio de calor. This is accomplished by adding ionizable substituents (A) to the dye molecule during initial synthesis, and then reacting this with an appropriate agent that contains charge-balancing ions (X). These ionic compounds can be deposited as amorphous films using conventional evaporation techniques. In addition, crystallization by heat is stable. OLED devices incorporating such dye salts for emitter layers exhibit superior efficiencies and durability compared to devices using neutral dye molecules.
