Abstract

"PROCESSO DE CONTROLAR UMA TRANSMISSãO DE MUDANçA DE POTêNCIA DE UM VEìCULO ACIONADO POR MOTOR". Um transmissão de mudança de potência de um veículo acionado por motor inclui eixos de entrada e saída, uma pluralidade de embreagens operadas por pressão de fluido para controlar fluxo de torque através da transmissão e válvulas de controle de pressão para controlar pressão de fluido comunicada às embreagens. Um processo de controlar uma embreagem se desfazendo durante uma mudança da transmissão inclui detectar uma carga no motor, como uma função da carga detectada, determinar uma pressão de deslizamento, que quando aplicada à embreagem causaria a embreagem deslizar, e aplicar a pressão de deslizamento à embreagem. Se a embreagem não está deslizando, a pressão aplicada à embreagem é reduzida até que rotação relativa (deslizamento) entre os elementos de entrada e saída de dita embreagem seja detectada. Então um aumento de pressão é determinado, que quando aplicado à embreagem deslizante permitiria a embreagem deslizante continuar a deslizar enquanto transmitindo o mesmo torque que estava transmitindo antes que ela começasse a deslizar. Finalmente, este aumento de pressão é aplicado à embreagem deslizante.
