Abstract

"SISTEMA DE AJUSTE VARIáVEL DE LARGURA DE BICO". Um sistema de ajuste variável de largura de bico para utilização em uma moldagem por fundição contínua de metal liq³efeito, inclui um bico ejetor à jusante de um recipiente de distribuição este ejetor incluindo um par de membros de alimentação de bico ejetor, reciprocamente afastados, a fim de definirem uma abertura de bico de alimentação em uma borda à jusante dos membros de alimentação do bico ejetor e um par de retentores de extremidade, localizados em uma lateral de acionamento e em uma lateral de operador dos rolos de fundição, estes retentores de extremidade estando engatados de maneira deslizante no interior do bico ejetor, cada retentor sendo móvel de forma axial em duas direções no interior do bico ejetor. Os retentores de extremidade são, de preferência, acionados através da utilização de um controle programável e um motor escalonado que responde aos sinais do controle programável. De forma alternativa, os motores escalonados poderiam ser acionados com a utilização de um controle manual. O motor escalonado, com uma caixa de engrenagem, de preferência, se encontra conectado ao retentor de extremidade por meio de um conector flexível e uma haste de condução de conexão direcionada através de um tubo de conexão.
