The mechanism is designed for irreversivle transmission of the motion of the outgoing shaft, regardless of the revolving direction of the ingoing shaft, and is used in industry and in the household. By it, using minimum number of gears, the accuracy of reading in one direction is improved. The mechanism contains a shaft (A), to which a guide (2) is fitted, and two freely revolving gears (1 & 3) meshing two gears (5 & 8), fitted on an outgoing shaft (B). An idler gear (4) and two studs revolving around an axle (C) are also included.
