Abstract
This distillation apparatus is used for extracting alcohol from fruit squashes, grape marc, wines, wine dregs etc. It features a simple design and produces high-alcohol content beverages through distillation of alcohol-containing raw materials with direct steam providing an efficient mass and heat exchange and no risk of deteriorating the resulting beverage quality. The apparatus consists of: distillation body (4) connected to fireplace (10) and steam generator (8), the latter two connected to one another by a single steam-supplying pipe (7) conveying the steam raised in the steam generator (8) to the bubbling device (6) placed in the distillation body (4). The steam generator (8) is placed on top of the fireplace (10), both forming a single unit, and the distillation body (4) is mounted in a socket in the steam generator (8).
