Abstract

The planetary gear train is used for driving chain-driven mechanisms, which require the speed of the chain to be equalised. It periodically changes the outgoing rotational speed, eliminating the cyclic changes of the momentary speed at which the sprocket wheel pulls the chain. The planetary gear train consists of driving (2) and driven (3) shafts bearing mounted on the body (1). To the driving shaft (2) are rigidly fixed central gears (4 and 5), respectively for the first and second planetary stage. The central gear with external teeth (4) engages planetary gears (6), the driving carrier (7) of which is rigidly fixed to the body (1). The face of the planetary gears (6) has eccentric pins (8) fixed in radial grooves on the facial disc-shaped surface (9) of the central gear with internal teeth (10). The radial grooves have a length longer than twice the eccentricity length of the pins (8). The central gear with internal teeth (10) engages a second set of planetary gears (11), the carrier of which (12) is connected with the driving shaft (3). The second set of planetary gears (11) also engages the central gear with external teeth (5).
