Abstract
This device is used in engine construction; in particular, for four-cycle carburetor engines. It improves the mixture formation within the engine's cylinders, which reduces the toxicity of burned-out gases and fuel expenditure. The device consists of a cylindrical head (1) with an internal suction channel (2), in which a suction valve (3) is fitted and added to additional pipelines (4) for air. The pipeline is connected, on one hand, to the space surrounding the suction valve, and on the other hand - to the atmosphere. It is disconnected by a distribution valve, formed as an immovable collector (5) with internal, concentrically-drilled apertures (6), whose number equals the number of the engine's cylinders. Each aperture is connected to a respective pipeline. To the collector is facially fitted a closely-fitting disc (7), actuated by a stepping motor (8), coordinated to the engine's revolutions. In the disc is formed an aperture (9), located along a circumference identical to the apertures of the collector, and ensuring the connection of each subsequent cylinder to the atmosphere.
