Abstract

The unit is intended for mechanical engineering when automatising the belt grinding of complex spatial surfaces. It is distinguished by the complete grinding of details with complex spatial surfaces, realized with six mobility stages without separating the basic movements, the axes of the local module are intersected on one point and mutually perpendicular. The unit consists of an industrial robot and a two-position belt-driving station. The robot includes three mutually perpendicular translation modules and a local module with three rotational mobility stages, the axes of which intersect at one point. To the second carriage (5) of the horizontal translations, is mounted a movable joint, a section (6), fixed to a vertical carriage (7). The latter supports a movable column (8) where a shaft (9) is bearing-mounted, with a gear wheel (10) fixed to it and is engaged to a driving wheel (11). To the gear wheel (10) is fixed an L-shaped element (12) with a chain-drive (13) mounted in it, on the driven shaft (14) of which is attached a second L-shaped element (15), in which is mounted a second chain-drive (16), the driven shaft of which is connected to a gripper (18).
