Abstract

The device is applied to the building and construction industry. It ensures high productivity, quality, savings and convenience when reinforcing. It consists of a horseshoe-shaped element (1) the sides of which are parallel at the base, and the ends are bevelled to each other, forming an angle ,the vertex of which is outside the horseshoe-shaped element (1). In the parallel parts of the sides, on grooves, is mounted a carrier (2) and in the bevelled parts are attached jaws (3), flexibly-joined to the carrier (2). By means of studs (4) put through the horseshoe-shaped element (1), the carrier (2) is connected to a loose ring (5) mounted at the outer part of the base of the horseshoe-shaped element (1) which is in contact with a handle (11) by means of edges with a lifter (6). Between the carrier (2) and the horseshoe-shaped element (1) is mounted a retracting spring (7). The horseshoe-shaped element (1) is connected with a screw (8), fixed in a tube (9). In one of the pipe (9) ends, at the side of the horseshoe-shaped element (1) ,is mounted a ratchet mechanism (10) including a movable and fixed towards the tube part, through which mechanism (10)passes the screw (8),and the other end of the tube (9) ends with a handle (11). The movable part of the ratchet mechanism (10) is pressed against the fixed one by a spring, slipped over the screw and blocked in its loose end.
