The installation may find applications in agriculture and forestry as well as in the timber processing industry. It provides an opportunity for highly effective combustion of timber refuse of all kinds having a high initial humidity, under conditions of stabilized and complete combustion while using the latent condensation heat of water vapours which are contained in flue gases, with ensuing full purification of flue gases from ash and solid particles. The installation comprises consecutively linked crushing machines (1), a reception chamber (2), a screw conveyer (3), a torch-type combustion chamber (4), with interior grates (5) and a water-heating boiler (6). The boiler (6) is connected with consumers (8) and with a contact heat-exchanger (7), which is appropriately provided with an active charge in the form of a stack of pipes. The heat-exchanger (7) has a stack outlet to the atmosphere and is also connected to the consumers (8).
