Abstract

The device is designed for surface mounted printed-circuit boards in the field of mechanical elements. Its compact construction has short kinematic chains. The drive of each pair of centering jaws is autonomous and is carried out by a single pneumatic cylinder, where the movement of both pairs of centring jaws remains independent one from another. The device includes an immobile body (14) in which a coaxial hollow cylindrical body (17) is inserted via a bearing, where a vertical displacement of the vacuum end mechanism (51) is located, with an additional body (5) attached to its lower end, inside which a driving mechanism for the two pairs of centring jaws is located /1, 2). The vertical shift mechanism of the vacuum end consists of a step electromotor (31), statically attached to the upper part of a flange (32), mounted on the upper part of the body (17). A clutch (38) inside the flange connecting the engine shaft to the screw (36) of a screw couple, the nut of the latter (34) fixed to the upper part of a mobile unilaterally operating pneumatic cylinder (21), located in the internal cylindrical surface of the body (17). The drive mechanism of the couple of centering jaws is a pneumatic cylinder, made up of the internal cylindrical surface of the additional body (5), the outer cylindrical surface of the hollow immobile shaft (4), the pistons (6, 7) positioned one above the other between them, connected by hollow piston rods (10, 11), having cams at their lower ends, and return springs (8, 9) of identical strain parameters and identically strained in advance.
