Abstract

This method is intended for different branches of industry. Its advantages consist in the significantly higher degree of resistance of the producer strain to repressed α-amylase synthesis in the presence of high glucose and citrate concentrations, its high activity and thermostability. According to the method, a strain of Bacillus licheniformis, registered in the NBPMCC under No. 1542, is cultured on integral minimal medium, containing as a single carbon source between 2.5% to 6% glucose, or between 0.5% to 1.5% sodium citrate.
