Abstract
The method is applied for efficient industrial production of thermostable-amylase required for the manufacture of beer, in the starch and glucose industry and others. The enzymic preparation produced has improved amylase activity and thermostability, and the process is made cheaper. By the method the catabolytic-depressed strain Bacillus licheniformis 1542 is cultivated in fermentation nutritive medium having glucose as a source of carbon and with the absence of starch as a component in the medium.
