Abstract
This method is intended for application in the purification of waters from mineral fertilisers from animal breeding farms, as well as urban domestic sewage waters. The method provides reduction of the duration of the purification process, lower power consumption, and improved quality of the purified waters. The method involves anaerobic treatment of water, which is continued until complete ammoniation of the organically bound nitrogen, while the aerobic treatment is conducted at a redox potential of 210 to 290 mV at an aerobic age of the active pallet ranging from 3 to 7 days.
