Abstract
The invention pertains to a method and a system for speedy feeding of medium influencing reactivity and especially neutron absorbing medium in a heavy water reactor (5), specifically pressurized water reactor, with at least one tank of borated water (3) for storage of the neutron absorbing medium as well as at least one feeding pipe (7) feeding the medium and/or a technical connection of the reactor(5) and/or the neutron poison tank and the preliminary tank (3), whereby in the feeding pipe (7) between the borated water tank (3) and the reactor (5) and/or the neutron poison tank a valve (6,10)is installed triggered by explosion i.e. flammable valve and it instantly and effectively actuates feeding of neutron absorbing medium, especially feeding of boron to the reactor (5) and/or the neutron poison tank.
