Abstract

The method and the device for a low-temperature thermal engine for the conversion of heat into mechanical and electric energy can be applied in industry, in energetic, in household, in rural economy, in transport, etc. for the conversion of all types of heat energy – solar, residual, thermal, etc. into mechanical work and electric power. The construction of the low-temperature thermal engine uses as an operative body carbon dioxide, ammonia, freon or some other cooling agent. The device comprises a generator of mechanical energy, containing at least four piston cylinders, the cylinders (3 and 6) being the operative organ, while the cylinders (4 and 5) transport the operative substance (freon) between the heat converters. The freon in the heat converters is in gas and liquid phase under a pressure which is directly proportional to the pressure and temperature within them.
