Abstract
The container tanker is a pressure vessel, made of several cylindrical compressed gas tanks designed to operate under pressure, close to the operational pressure of from 25 to 60 bar in the country's gas-line transportation network. The cylindrical tanks are mounted as communicating vessels on a container platform, enabling their transportation by a container shipment triler (2) to different users of natural or liquefied propane-butane gas. The container tanker (1) for natural gas comprises a filling unit from the country's specialized filling points, built close to the high pressure (from 25 to 60 bar) transportation network, comprising a stop valve (5), velocity shutoff device (6) and a filling hose (8). The discharge unit comprises an outlet pressure regulator (4), stop valve (5), velocity cut-off device (6) and discharge hose (7), enabling the discharge of the gas into a stationary tank or for direct fuelling of the consumer. The gas filling is made without compression, making use of the pressure of the country's gas transportation network. 3 claims, 1 figure
