Abstract

The heat-insulation material includes pyrogenic metallic oxide - quartz sand for a casting mould line, refractory, binder and cellulose. The components of the material are in the following quantitative ratios, in wt.%: quartz sand for a casting moulding line from 60 to 95, refractory from 2 to 30, binder from 2 to 15 and cellulose from 1 to 20. The refractory material can be lightweight, such as light fireclay, pearlite, ashes or vermiculite, or be normal, in particular fireclay, magnesite or dolomite. It is possible that part of the cellulose quantity should be of waste paper, and it is particularly suitable to be up to 50% of the total cellulose quantity. 6 claims
