Abstract
The refractory products in the CaO-Mgo-C system are designed for building facing of oxygen converters, steel pouring buckets and electric arc steel-making furnaces. Material of optimized grain-size distribution is used for their pressing, and containing, in wt. %: dolomite clinker fraction 5-3 mm from 35 to 45, dolomite clinker fraction 3-0.2 mm from 18 to 27, dolomite clinker fraction <0.2 mm from 25 to 34, graphite (black, silvery) from 3 to 12, silicon-, magnesium-, iron-containing antioxidant additive separate or in combination, or their alloy from, 0.6 to 7, and resin binder (coal, synthetic phenolformaldehyde) from 2 to 8. The homogenized material has temperature ranging from 70 to 90 degrees C and is pressed at pressure from 80 to 130 MPa.
