Abstract

The method and the line are used in the treatment of waste tyres in order to recycle the rubber, the metal and the textile contained thereof. The method comprises partitioning the tyres into 3 to 5 ring-shaped parts, their cutting and subsequent shredding and separation of their individual components. The line includes the facilities, arranged in the following order: for partitioning the tyres, consisting of two modules for partitioning (2, 2a), modules for cutting (6, 6a) of the partitioned rings (1a) and slices (1b) and a module for shredding (8).The shreds produced are fed to the disintegration module (10) which is further connected to at least one milling module (17). The invention also relates to a line for shredding and grinding pieces of motor-car tyres, as well as an other rubber wastes. The tool for shredding, disintegration and grinding of the rubber granules is a set of milling machine disks (801), interacting with fixed supporting knives (806), the cutters of each disk milling machine are alternately fitted opposite each other, and each disc cutter is shifted towards the periphery of its adjacent cutter, and the neighbouring knives of two disks are overlapping. 20 claims, 13 figures
