Abstract
The power system is used in hydraulic engineering. By it optimum industrial utilization of the hydraulic resources of the Veleka and Rezovska rivers is achieved at simultaneous electricity generation and production of potable water and water for irrigation from these rivers. The hydroelectric system consists of upper dam (1) with the Rezovska reservoir, upper water intake tower (2), confined tunnel (3), water tower (4) with outlet instrumentation chamber, upper pressure pipeline (5), upper Hydroelectric Power Plant (6), lower water intake tower (7), lower dam (8) with Veleka reservoir, lower pressure pipeline (9), lower Hydroelectric Power Plant (10) and lower canal (11). 5 claims, 10 figures
