Abstract

The system is used in the sound engineering and ensures the amplification of emitting in the lower frequencies at improved phase-frequency response. It is made of two fixed interconnected coaxial passive membranes (1, 2) of different sizes fitted in a loudspeaker box together with an active emitter fitted in the same acoustic chamber (5) with the smaller passive membrane (2). Both membranes (1, 2) are acoustically isolated from each other by a mechanical partition (3). The coaxial membranes (1, 2) can be emitting in different directions and then partition (3) shall be fitted externally towards them. When membranes (1, 2) have unidirectional emitting, partition (3) shall be fitted internally towards the membranes. 5 claims, 2 figures
