Abstract

The method and the device can be used residentially for improving the security, in particular for the protection of buildings, villas, and for tracing stolen transport vehicles with or without alarm devices installed. According to the method and the device, on leaving the protected object stages of continuous or periodical monitoring of selected parts from it are carried out and at least one breakdown is provoked in the object when the operative link between several parts of the electric, electronic or electromechanical system is disconnected by means of a device concealed in the system, preferably by its remote activation. On returning to the object the situation causing the break-down is revoked; in certain situations local alarm is produced in case of any change of the levels of one or another preset monitored values; the alarm signal is simultaneously fed to at least one preset remote address and the situation of the object is reported in the partucular case.In addition any further break-downs in the object are controlled from the remote address and a control unit is mounted in the deleting directory of the control unit causing at least one break-down of the object where the device is activated and deactivated by one and sole secret code by its owner. The control unit is switched on before leaving the protected object and after at least one break-down is caused to the object. There follows deactivation of the above control unit on return and before entering the protected object, before the cancellation of the state of the device for causing at least one break-down to the object, and local or remote signalling to the owner for any unauthorized attempt at deactivating the control device. 10 claims, 5 figures
