Abstract

The invention is used for the localization of nonmetalliclines in the ground. It improves the accuracy in the determinationof its location. The localizing band of the track includes a bandbody (10) made of two strips (11, 12) interconnected along theirentire surface, the interior of strip (19) containing mulipleconductors made of metal. For easier detection of the loction ofthe localizing band on the track the conductors are of copperwhich does not corrode in the ground even if one of the conductors(21) is bare and its sections (25) ensure sound electric contactwith the earth. Conductors (22, 23) are covered with an inulationlayer (28) which screens them electrically from the groundenabling the actual determination of the location of thelocalization band. The insulated conductors also enable theconventional passive method for detecting the loaction.12 claims, 1 figures
