Abstract

The arrow (10) is designed for implantation. It has a head(20) of hard material and a tubular body (30), containing one ormore medicament-releasing implantation vessels (50). Head (20) hasa blade (27) in its front end having a cutting sharp point (28)and a concave and elongated backward shape to the body. The bodyis made of a screw-wound coil (32) which attributes it a conicalform allowing the coil filets to shrink and block, attributingrelative hardness to the body whilst the arrow is being injectedinto the subject. A passage (60) from the head (20) to theinteriors of body (30) ensures the fluid connecton between thefluids of the body of the subject and that of the implantedvessels. The whole system contains at least one arrow and aninjection mechanism which occupies a specific part of thesubject's body by a base and introduces the arrow inside the partwhich is usially parallel to the base.24 claims, 11 figures.
