Abstract

The improver is used for the reclamation, restoration of thefertility and the structural stability of soils impaired from themining of uranium, by means of borehole systems applying thegeotechnological method. The improver is lime composition which isapplied in the soil in quantities required for reaching pH from5.8 to 6.2. In its first option the improver 1 is naturalglauconitrophosphorous raw material. It is applied in the soil inquantities ensuring the optimum standard of lime finish inaccordance with its neutralization capacity and thephysicochemical characteristics of the impaired terrain until pHof from 5.8 to 6.2 is attained. The soil reaction is restored andits optimum value for a longer period of time is stabilized. Inthe second option the improver 2 is a mixture of carbonate-hydroxysludges - waste product from the termoelectric power stations, brought to the necessary neutralization capacity to calciumcarbonate. The improver additionally contains coal powder - wasteproduct from the coal mining industry, in ratio 1.5:1 and isapplied in the soil in a quantity guaranteeing an oprimum standardof lime application until pH of 5.8 to 6.2 is reached. It improvesthe quality of the humus system, the quantity of the sound bondedcalcium is increased in the newly formed organomineral formations, the optimum value of the soil reaction is stabilized for a longerperiod of time and the soil microstructure is restored.3 claims\!
