Abstract

The mechanism is used in mechanical engineering,instrumentation and the motor-car and forklift truck engineering,in particular in all machine tools and metalworking machines,equipment and appliances where there is reduction of the angularvelocity. It technically solves the problem for changing thespeeds having solid gear connection of the operating parts underconditions of normal lubrication with standard oils. It hasgreater efficiency, facilitated external control and easilyexecuted design and technological configuration with reducednumber of parts. The gear mechanism consists of a housing (1) inwhich an inlet shaft (2) is resting fixed by a surrounding bushing(14) an inlet disc (3) having radial groove with a slide (4)mounted in it. A gear shaft (5) is mounted in a central hole ofslide (4) which is meshed to a crown gear with inner teeth (8)fixed by a spacer disc (7). In the latter, shaft (5) and a secondshaft are resting, the righthand side journal (12) of the latteris fixed to a second slide (11) running into a groove of an outletdisc (10), connected to an outlet shaft (13) which rests inhousing (1). In the lower end of slide (4) a flexible band (17) isfixed, getting across roller (16) and fixed to another roller(18) Roller (18) is mounted with a facility for axial shifting tothe inlet shaft (2) and is connected to a lever system (19) forexternal control of slider (4).
