Abstract

30 à 90 parties en poids des matériaux à récupérer sont granulées et mélangées avec 10 à 40 parties en poids d'une substance organique jouant le role d'agent réducteur après pyrolyse et capable de former un revetement sur la surface des particules contenant des oxydes de fer et éventuellement avec 2 à 15 parties en poids d'un matériau contenant du carbone, et le matériau résultant est chargé dans un four ou directement dans un convertisseur dans lequel sa teneur en oxydes de fer est réduite en fer métallique à 800-1000degrés C.
