Abstract

Des substances organiques et en particulier les polyoléfines sont stabilisées par une combinaison d'un phénol à empechement stérique antioxydant tel que le 2,6-di-t-butyl-p-crésol (BHT) et de borohydrure de sodium (SBH). L'addition du borohydrure de sodium aide à empecher le jaunissement qui tend sinon à se manifester dans les substances stabilisées uniquement par un phénol à empechement stérique. La quantité de SBH, sur base du polymère, est avantageusement de 0,001 à 0,2% en poids.
