NOUVEAU PRINCIPE D'ARMEMENT .
NOUVEAU PRINCIPE D'ARMEMENT .
<EMI ID=1.1>
arme .
Figure 5 :
<EMI ID=2.1>
est bien de déclencher le départ d'une balle sans intervention d'une douille;
NEW ARMING PRINCIPLE.
NEW ARMING PRINCIPLE.
We know the primitive weapons which required a load on the spot, so that it was necessary to manually introduce with a pusher stick (rod) a certain charge
powder which allowed, after the action of a flint, to ignite this powder and trigger the start of a ball.
Our patent starts from the same principle.
Except that we have seen to make the entry
explosive material (gas or powder), fully automated.
There is therefore a new effect on a main point which is to remove the sockets by
an automatic supply of explosive material.
We also know that, both the
Adolphe HITLER that the American researches tried to find an armament which does not require any casing. This armament put
the payload directly in the ball, so that space, weight, energy and material are saved. But, automatically, a problem appeared: THE RESIDUES or waste coming from the pellet which closed the explosive element (not ejectable) of the bullet.
Our patent also wants to eliminate this drawback.
If we also want to understand that the
using sockets (or reserves
of powder) requires to use twice
more volume than if one works without a socket, one will understand the utility of this patent. But, the principle would
that we manage to reduce the number of moving parts to a strict minimum.
We will see, later, that these pieces
will be 1, 2, and maybe 3 ... with a higher possibility taking into account the need for protection
of this patent.
Definition of NEW ARMING PRINCIPLE
By adding detonating gas or bakelized or other powder, by an independent circuit, allow balls to be ejected as if they were with a
socket. That is to say, we want to obtain a bale distribution circuit
so that the armament volume is reduced and the cost price of the ammunition is reduced.
It is good to know, at this patent stage,
that various supply possibilities are foreseen and that, moreover, we will propose certain innovations as for the gun.
We tried to put in a single patent what could be part of several patents Let's continue the principle:
In addition to the claim element mentioned above, it should be understood that these balls are completely independent of the propulsion system.
That is to say that one can use, either solidified powder or gas as a propellant or explosive.
In addition, it is obvious that this principle is applicable to the rifle, the piltolet, to
the submachine gun, cannon, or any other kind of firearm.
In an attached sketch, we describe a number of possibilities as to the
<EMI ID = 1.1>
weapon.
In figure 1:
a and b are two notched wheels which train each other, either by the simple presence of
e (ball) or by a simple system of toothed wheels applied against these two notched wheels (or cylinders). It will be noted that, each time these two notched wheels (a and b) arrive at point e, automatically they create a firing chamber which is located opposite the barrel. d serving as a guide for the bales and c being the loader system where the bales are pushed, either by a drawer or piston moved by the recovery of a small
gases caused by ignition, either by a negligible part of the gases used for ignition, or by a simple spring. The assembly shown in this FIG. 1 being defined by way of example that can be carried out in the context of this patent.
In figure 2:
a being the barrel, b is a drawer which by a back and forth movement, supplies the barrel (a) in bullet or projectile. It is obvious that this drawer, or supply slider can be curved so as to obtain a different effect.
In figure 3:
a being the barrel, b is a slide allowing the admission of the balls. It is clear that this slide works by the action of gases, in small part of course, produced
by the explosion of the firing material.
In addition, it is pushed back into position
"closed" by a rear spring, this, dice
that the bullet has positioned itself in the firing chamber.
In figure 4:
a being the barrel, b being the barrel, c being the magazine, the bullets (d) are automatically introduced into the barrel (b), so that they position, one after the other, facing the barrel . The barrel serving,
at this time, from the firing chamber.
The introduction of bullets that can be done
from the rear, in this case, or from the front, in another case.
The barrel rotating and positioning, automatically, in particular by a rack system. The bullets being brought into the penetration position of the barrel by a spring or by a pusher as described in Figure 1.
Figure 5:
<EMI ID = 2.1>
ration, to allow, following a movement of va
and comes circular, the entry of the ball
in the barrel (a) or in the placing chamber
with fire, b being moved by a simple lever thwarted by a return spring and pushed by a small part of the gases released by the explosion of the ignition material.
At this stage of the explanatory, we will summarize as follows:
There are various ways to introduce bullets into the firing chamber, which
this chamber is an integral part of the barrel or whether it is constituted either by a barrel or by notched cylinders, the main thing is that the bullet is brought in front of the barrel with a minimum of moving parts
and, therefore, with a minimum loss of power as well as with a minimum risk of clutching. It will be understood that this principle, whatever the simple mechanical system, will make it possible to achieve a very high rate
of fire as well as an excellent loading capacity while remaining of a low cost price and of a weight lower than the average of similar armaments.
We will also emphasize that it is perfectly possible, in the case where the gas
could not apply in individual cases,
to "enter" into the update room
fire, simultaneously, and the bullet and the powder. This can be, if necessary, the object
of an annex to this patent.
Firing system:
For reasons of dimunitions of moving parts, this patent provides for using an electronic ignition, or firing.
We know, on this subject, the lighters known as "piezzo electronic" whose sparks, caused by a simple pressure of the finger, are
in almost unlimited number. However, this spark is more than enough to cause the
the ignition of the deflating product.
For obvious reasons, within the framework of this patent, we will also provide,
firing by a conventional system, such as percussion with a possible contribution of spark. (The first description in
page 2 helps to understand this solution) Special systems:
We plan, see Figure 6, to use,
in a particular case, projectiles (a)
with two or more or less "skirts"
or light straps so that they serve, on the one hand, as guides in the loader and, on the other hand, that they crush when
penetration into the barrel and serve, in a way, as a "flock" or basic brake
when the projectile is ejected.
Furthermore, see Figure 7, we could,
in one case, provide one, two or more tracers (b) at the entrance to the barrel
such that these "skirts" or light straps are marked in a spiral and cause
the rotation of this projectile on itself.
This would avoid having to use a cannon
crossed out and would reduce the cost price accordingly. This would, in addition, Figure 8, to have a barrel (a) whose internal part (b) would be porcelain. (We know, particularly in Japan, current research to fill the internal walls of an internal combustion engine cylinder with this material, which is particularly resistant to friction and heat.
and having the advantage of requiring only negligible lubrication.)
As, obviously, in this particular case, the rifling of the barrel appears difficult, the case shown in Figure 7 seems particularly appropriate.
In figure 9, in a, we find the charger for the bales and, in b, the loading of solidified powder.
It will be understood that the two, a and b, will be introduced simultaneously into the placing chamber
after having passed through an arming system as shown in Figures 1 to 5.
And, this, in a case of nonlimiting figure as for this patent.
As it stands, if we want to summarize
a particular use case, we will say:
Starting from FIG. 1 where by means of two notched cylinders making ofiice, in their common axis, of firing chamber, using a charger whose projectiles
are pushed by a drawer acting as a piston, following the intervention of a small part of the gases released by the ignition, taking into account that the ignition takes place by the intervention of an electric discharge, taking into account that the explosion is the result of the introduction of explosive gas whose cylinder, under pressure, is located in the butt; using, moreover, (figure 6) projectiles having 2 skirts (b) and being grooved automatically (figure 7), allowing a great rate of fire while avoiding the heating of the barrel thanks to the addition of a core of porcelain in the barrel (figure 8 - b).
It is clear that various formulas are possible and that the various formulas taken up could be developed in the present patent. We reserve the right to do so in appendices to this patent.
