Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour l'élimination du soufre d'une charge hydrocarbonée contenant du soufre, caractérisé en ce que l'on met ladite charge hydrocarbonée contenant du soufre en contact avec un lit de catalyseur régénéré essentiellement constitué de vanadium et d'un métal du groupe VIII, ou d'un groupe VI-B, ou de métaux du groupe VI-B et du groupe VIII, supportés sur une base d'oxyde inorganique réfractaire poreuse.
