<EMI ID=1.1>
<EMI ID=2.1>

"Briquette of combustion fuel or improved draft" The present invention relates essentially
an improved combustion or draft fuel briquette.
The fuel briquette according to the present invention consists essentially of a combustible material and is characterized in that it has a specific shape increasing its external surface, ie its surface in contact with the surrounding air.
According to a particular embodiment, this briquette comprises one or more grooves in at least some of these faces, thereby increasing its external surface.
According to a preferred embodiment, this briquette also comprises orifices or through holes.
The presence of these orifices or through holes increases the draft during combustion.
On the other hand, the increase in the external surface improves the combustion and also decreases the time
drying during manufacture by a wet process.
This briquette can be executed with
straight lines and / or curved lines.
The combustible material of the briquette can be any and it is preferably chosen from wood,
coal, coke, agricultural waste, household waste, rubber, tar, tree bark, plastics, or their various mixtures in any proportion.
We can also add natural or artificial additives to the basic product if necessary.
On the other hand, in the case of using coal or coke as a base material, natural portland cement and the cements mentioned in NBN 771 standards or lime can be added as an adhesive or additive.
These natural adhesives or additives have the advantage of transforming the sulfur existing in the
basic product into a non-harmful product.
The manufacture of this fuel briquette can be carried out by a dry or wet, hot or cold process using one of the following techniques: by casting or molding; by press compression; by impact compression or even by vibration compression.
These techniques being well known and conventional for those skilled in the art, these are not presented in detail here.
In the accompanying drawings, there are shown two currently preferred embodiments of the invention.
According to the embodiment of Figure 1, forming an integral part of the invention, the briquette
is essentially constituted by a cube or paréllélépi-
<EMI ID = 1.1>
vertical edges are here formed by grooves 2, 3, 4, 5 curved or with an arcuate profile. It can thus be seen that these grooves 2 to 5 constitute recesses increasing the external surface of the briquette.
This briquette also includes an orifice
<EMI ID = 2.1>
the external surface of the briquette.
Thus, this briquette has a specific shape increasing its external surface in order to obtain the technical effects stated above.
Naturally, the section of this briquette can be rectangular or generally polygonal, including circular.
Referring to Figure 2, there is shown
another embodiment of the invention which can
be considered to be formed by the addition of three basic briquettes in FIG. 1. Thus, this new briquette 8 comprises vertical grooves 9, 10, 11, 12,
13, 14, 15, 16 and three through holes 17, 18, 19.
Naturally, the number of grooves or through holes can be any in order to increase the external surface of the briquette.
The invention therefore includes all the means constituting technical equivalents of the means described as well as their various combinations.
