Abstract
The air deflector is for heavy vehicles and it is movable to follow the shape of hauled trailers. This adjustment can be done without leaving the driving cabin. It can also be used on vehicles not hauling trailers. The deflector is shaped as an aerofoil, pivoted at its centre in a line across the vehicle longitudinal axis. The adjustment is by tilting the aerofoil through a system of rods, through the cab roof to a pivoted control lever, held in a frame. Seals are fitted where the roof is penetrated.

Un déflecteur pour poids-lourd, mobile et réglable suivant la taille du poids-lourd, de la forme de la remorque, et cela sans quitter la cabine.
Le présent perfectionnement concerne un déflecteur pour poidslourd qui consiste en un aileron mobile commandé de la cabine
et se trouvant sur le toit de la cabine ( figure 1 ).
Ce dispositif n'est pas nouveau, il permet de rejeter le flux d'air au-dessus de la remorque et de ce fait diminue la consommation
de carburant, le perfectionnement réside dans le fait que le déflecteur peut pivoter et prendre un angle neutre quand le
camion ne tracte pas de remorque (on voit souvent des camions

déployés), le présent perfectionnement permet d'allier les deux. L'aileron est traversé en son axe par une barre fileté à ses deux extremitées, et cela pour le boulonnage.
Le boulonnage s'effectue sur deux ailerons verticaux fixés sur le tpit de la cabine (figure 1 et 2).

This improvement relates to a truck deflector which consists of a movable fin controlled from the cabin
and located on the roof of the cabin (Figure 1).
This device is not new, it allows to reject the air flow over the trailer and therefore reduces consumption
fuel, the improvement lies in the fact that the deflector can pivot and take a neutral angle when the
truck does not tow a trailer (we often see trucks

deployed), this improvement makes it possible to combine the two. The fin is crossed in its axis by a threaded bar at its two ends, and this for bolting.
The bolting is carried out on two vertical fins fixed on the tpit of the cabin (figure 1 and 2).
