EXEMPLE :
On réalise un tissu conforme à l'invention ayant les caractéristiques suivantes :
<EMI ID=4.1>

Fabric for blinds or the like and material for obtaining it.
FABRIC FOR BLINDS OR THE LIKE AND MATERIAL FOR OBTAINING SAME.
The present invention relates to a new type of fabric which can be used to make blinds or similar articles as well as to a new type of thread making it possible to obtain such a fabric.
It relates more particularly to an improvement made to fabrics, for blinds, of the type described in French patent 1 502 610.
In general, the fabrics for blinds described in this document consist, in warp and weft, of glass threads sheathed or coated with a layer of plastic material, these threads being integral at their point of intersection and the texture of the fabric being such that they are indefinable and have a certain transparency.
They must be such that a person located on the fabric side opposite to that of the light source (sun) can see through said fabric while an observer located between the fabric and the light source cannot see through it. Such a material also has good thermal insulation and must also be non-flammable and non-combustible, non-deformable, resistant, and of a pleasant aesthetic appearance.
To improve the reflective power of these articles and consequently their thermal insulating power, it has been proposed to make them reflective by incorporating into the mass of plastic (PVC) covering the son of glass, metallic particles, for example aluminum, bronze ... Such a solution, a priori attractive, has many drawbacks by the fact that it causes a lack of homogeneity of the coating product, poses problems for carrying out this operation and increases the risk flash production during the welding operations to which these fabrics are subjected to produce the blind itself.
Indeed, the incorporation of metallic particles into the mass quickly finds a limitation by the fact that if the particles are too large they hardly, if at all pass through the die and if they are too small they
are too much in the material. In addition, only a small amount of particles is found at the periphery and provides the reflection function.
It has also been proposed to coat the fabric after its production with a layer of reflective material. This solution is also not satisfactory by the fact that the fabric is obstructed and therefore deteriorates its transparency and ventilation effect, but above all that there are appearance defects.
In general, we can therefore say that all the solutions considered to date to increase the reflecting power of woven blinds have not been satisfactory.
Now, we have found, and this is the subject of the present invention, a new type of fabric of the aforementioned type which, to a certain extent, makes it possible to increase its power of insulation and reflection and which , moreover and above all allows it to be superficially decorated, for example by printing.
In general, the invention therefore relates to an industrial fabric, usable in particular as a blind, of the type formed in warp and weft by glass threads sheathed or coated with plastic material, threads linked to their point of intersection, the texture of the fabric being such that it is non-deformable and has a certain transparency.
The fabric according to the invention is characterized in that the warp and / or weft threads are, before weaving, wrapped with a blade of a reflective film, the wrapping turns being slightly spaced from one another and the heat treatment to which the fabric is subjected after completion, causing the plastic to melt and bond, on the one hand, the covering element on the glass core and, on the other hand, the bonding of the warp threads and weft between them at their point of intersection, in order to avoid fraying of the fabric during making and to give it greater rigidity when in use.
In the present description, the term "blade" is used to designate a flat strip, of small thickness, comprised between 0.01 millimeter and 0.1 millimeter, of width comprised between 0.1 millimeter and 3 millimeters, 'obtained by cutting of a reflective film.
Advantageously, the reflective film consists of a polyester film covered with an aluminum film and an exterior varnish. According to a preferred embodiment in the fabric according to the invention, the covering is made in such a way that the polyester film is placed on the external face *. This embodiment allows, if desired, to easily print, by means of any decoration, one or both sides of the blind.
The invention and the advantages which it brings will however be better understood thanks to the example of embodiment given.

The industrial fabric produced in accordance with the invention is of the type formed in warp and weft by glass threads 1, sheathed or coated with plastic material 2, threads secured at their point of intersection, the texture of the fabric being such that it presents a certain transparency. The fabric according to the invention will have a texture similar to the different types of texture described in the French patent

<EMI ID = 3.1>
shown in more detail in Figure 1, the covering is made so that the consecutive turns of the blades 3 are slightly spaced from each other, this spacing 4 4 being generally close to 0.22 millimeter.
As a blade 3 intended to form the reflective covering, a blade preferably having a width of between 0.2 millimeters and 0.5 millimeters is used, this blade being obtained by cutting a formed film, as illustrated in FIG. FIG. 2, of a polyester film 5 covered with a metallic film 6, for example of aluminum, itself covered with a layer of protective varnish 7. These blades can be formed for example by metalloplastic wires, unalterable , very flexible and of great shine, metallized under vacuum, marketed under the Rexor brand. Such wires have a width of 0.25 millimeter or 0.37 millimeter and a thickness of about 12 microns.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the wrapping by means of the blades 3 is carried out so that the polyester film 5 is located on the outside of the wrapped yarn produced.
After production of the fabric, in a conventional manner, a heat treatment is carried out by passage through an oven whose ambient temperature is of the order of 180 [deg.] C which causes the softening and melting of the PVC coating.
and consequently, the connection of the glass core 1 to the external covering 3. Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 3, due to the spacing 4 comprised between each of the covering turns 3, the product d coating of the glass strands flows in these zones 4 and forms bonding points 8 which make it possible to firmly bind the warp and weft threads of the fabric to their crossover point.
EXAMPLE:
A fabric is produced in accordance with the invention having the following characteristics:
<EMI ID = 4.1>
- core 1: 340 dtex glass wire,
coating 2: PVC-based composition,
- total title of core + coating: 1280 dtex,
- wrapping 3 made on a conventional mill using a film sold under the brand Rexor NC 12 of 0.25 millimeters in width, the wrapping twist being such that a spacing 4 of 0.2 millimeters is obtained between each of the consecutive turns covering. The covering is made so that the polyester film is located outside.
A fabric is then produced having the following characteristics:
- in chain: 128 dtex glass threads coated with PVC and not having reflective covering,
- weft threads: wrapped threads as described above, 1 - texture: 22 threads - 16'coups,
- weave: satin with 12 strokes and redoubled threads.
The fabric being thus produced, it is subjected to a heat treatment in an oven making it possible to soften the coating PVC which forms an arch 8 between two consecutive turns
3 of the reflective covering which makes it possible, on the one hand, to obtain a connection between the glass core 1 and the covering 3 and, on the other hand, a connection of the warp and weft threads at their crossing point .
From such a fabric, blinds are then produced. It is noted that such blinds have a transparency comparable to the conventional anterior fabric produced according to French patent 1 502 610 but that, in addition, such a fabric can, if desired, be printed taking into account the fact that its external surface is consisting at least in part of a polyester film for which there are many dyes.
Of course, the invention is not limited to the example
described above, but it covers all variants made in the same spirit. Thus, if in the previous example, only the weft threads consisted of threads comprising a reflective covering, it is obvious
<EMI ID = 5.1>
ne and a frame made of such a wire.
