Appareil composé de deux parties en matière plastique, avec dans la partie supérieure un gros rouleau tournant dans de la colle. Dans la partie inférieure un rouleau de papier peint est fixé sur un axe.

  
L'axe est muni d'arrets pour fixer le rouleau de papier selon la largeur. Le papier sort de la caissette inférieure par une fente passe sur une roulette se trouvant à la base de la caissette supé rieure, puis sur une autre roulette se trouvant à la partie la plus haute du bac supérieur.

  
Le papier passe ensuite sur un rouleau qui l'enduit de colle, glisse cette fois sous un rouleau réglable (qui peut être en forme de brosse) et qui presse le papier contre le mur.

  
Un niveau d'eau permet de controler si l'appareil est à la horizontale.

  
Un manche sous l'appareil permet de supporter le poids pendant le travail.
