Drijvend zwembad.
<EMI ID=2.1>

<EMI ID=8.1>
trekkelijk lange afstand.
watermassa's, zoals reservoirs, lagunes, enzovoorts.

Floating pool.
The invention relates to a swimming pool that
is designed and constructed to be placed in a supportive manner in a body of water and at least virtually portable i.e. as a result
of the collapsible nature of the liner or fluid container and its connection to a floating deck, which serves as access to the interior of the liner and the water or fluid separated therein
is kept away from the surrounding supporting body of water.
Swimming pools that are mainly used for recreational purposes and in some cases for health purposes,
are of course known and used by mankind for hundreds of years. With the advent of modern society and the associated
In rare abundance, the popularity of swimming pools and such structures has increased significantly during the twentieth century. This <EMI ID = 1.1>

allow the year.
While such permanent pool installations have become more popular in recent years, their installation costs have risen to the point where their availability is increasingly questionable to the average person.
In an effort to avoid this high cost, the swimming pool industry has developed "portable" structures
can be installed on land but have obvious drawbacks and limitations with respect to their durability
<EMI ID = 2.1>
adversely affected by these limitations, which in turn has led consumers to seek a swimming pool arrangement that is functionally more desirable than land-based portable swimming pool arrangements yet less expensive than permanent installations.
Thus, attempts have been made to fill this void by members of the swimming pool industry. These efforts have led to the basic understanding of "floating pools", the characteristics of which differ from the portable pools to be deployed ashore. More specifically, these "floating pools" are specially designed to be supported in a natural or artificial body of water such as a lake, river, stream, reservoir, and so on. These "floating pools" are shown in U.S. Patent No. 1,078,472.
Although this well-known construction certainly works <EMI ID = 3.1>
<EMI ID = 4.1>
<EMI ID = 5.1>
casts lend themselves to many applications that are generally not

So there is a need in the swimming pool industry
<EMI ID = 7.1>
use in a large, natural or artificial body of water such as a lake, reservoir, river, etc. This construction must be relatively portable in order to facilitate transportation to various locations but must have the strength which generally provides the same usage characteristics as a permanent swimming pool installation.
These design proprietary hoods also cover sufficient size, depth and support to handle multiple people. These persons can be supported on the deck and in the liquid that is kept separate from the supporting body of water in which the pool is kept afloat.
Furthermore, the floating pool structure of the present invention must be adaptable to a "semi-permanent" installation in which the pool is held in one place for a relatively long period of time. Also, this pool should be relatively easy to transport to various places, including moorings
<EMI ID = 8.1>
attractively long distance.
The invention relates to a floating swimming pool primarily designed to be supported in a larger body of water. Within the scope of the present invention <EMI ID = 9.1>
bodies of water, such as reservoirs, lagoons, and so on.
The pool of the present invention has a liner made of a flexible sheet that is non-permeable to liquid. Furthermore, the liner has a float in the form of a floating edge portion.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the rim portion comprises an inflatable hose or tubular member that forms the peripheral boundary of the liner and is attached to the side wall of the liner around the peripheral edge. Due to the buoyancy of the edge portion of the liner relative to the remainder thereof, it is held substantially or at least partially on the surface of the body of water to support the remainder of the liner. Since the sheet material that makes up the liner is impermeable, the liquid or water within the liner can be kept separate from the body of water in which it is supported.
In another embodiment of the present In the invention, the edge part forms the peripheral boundary of the liner, but the edge part consists of a floating, at least substantially rigid material. Within the scope of the present invention, the term "rigid material" does not include buoyant material
<EMI ID = 10.1>
it is intended that floating resins, plastics or floating foam material under the term "substantially rigid"

platforms used instead, such as a dock, vessel, and so on. The deck includes a housing having at least a first and second portion, the first portion being on the inside of the liner relative to the floating edge portion and further immersed in the water therein. The first housing portion includes a filter that
<EMI ID = 17.1>
<EMI ID = 18.1>
the water is supplied from the interior of the liner through an inlet formed in the first housing portion and
is connected to the pump. The pump is connected via a connecting pipe to a fluid outlet with nozzles, the pump serving to draw fluid through the inlet from the interior of the liner through the filter cartridges and the pump forcing the water back into the interior of the liner after filtering. lining. This assembly thus provides an independent filtering of the water within the
<EMI ID = 19.1>
corpse.
The second part of the deckhouse is at least partially hollow and provides a space for storing the liner
<EMI ID = 20.1>
the pool is transported between different places or

<EMI ID = 23.1>
liner float. The connector is placed so that it overlaps or at least partially surrounds the edge portion and thereby <EMI ID = 24.1>
profile allows a freely movable but solid connection between the deck and the liner.
Additional floats may be placed in the first and / or second housing portion to floatably support the housing
on the surface of the body of water in which the pool floats. Otherwise, only the second housing portion has additional floats formed thereon or else it consists of material that itself floats. In this embodiment, the first housing part is held in its desired position due to its substantially cantilevered connection to the second housing.
Furthermore, the housing is sized and designed to provide a support platform that can support one or more persons in a standing or supine position. The floating swimming pool can therefore be fully utilized
in the usual way, for example for sunbathing, and so on.
Other features of the present invention include the provision of a ladder that is rigidly connected to

The ladder is of course arranged to provide access to the water therein in the substantially conventional manner.

The pool of the present invention further includes a cover portion generally indicated at 30.
According to figures 2, 3 and 4, this cover part 30 comprises a housing, which comprises a first part 32 and a second part 34. The first and second parts 32, 34 are connected to each other approximately at 36 and are arranged especially so with respect to each other and otherwise

This similarity in shape between the hollow profile 38 and the edge portion 27 allows for a detachable, loose but secure connection between the cover portion 30 and the liner 14. The hollow profile 38 thus forms the connecting means whereby the cover part 30 is arranged in an overlapping and at least partially surrounding position with respect to the edge part 27, which in the above-described embodiment the float of the present

A further feature of the present invention includes additional floats 53 mounted on the second housing portion 34 to keep it afloat on the body of water. Furthermore, the first housing part 32 may include an additional float 54 to maintain it in the desired, at least partially supported, buoyant position with respect to the water 22 within the liquid container 20. Otherwise, the substantially free overhanging position and connection of the first housing part 32 will be relative to the second housing portion 34, keeping it in its desired position especially due to the supportive position of the edge portion 27 with respect to the deck portion or housing of the deck portion as best illustrated in FIGS. 3 and 4.

A filter assembly (Figures 8, 9, 10 and 11) may be enclosed in or at least partially housed in the first housing portion 32.
More specifically, the filter assembly includes a pump 70 submerged in the water 22 within the liner. This water enters through the water inlet 71 formed in the first housing portion 32 (Figure 2) of the cover portion. More specifically, the inlet 71 includes a specially shaped opening that serves as a wiper and is substantially level with the surface of the water 22 within the liner. and provide the second housing portion 34.
Although the embodiment of FIGS. 8, 9 and 10 shows an independent filter system as described above, it is noted that the first housing portion 32 is adaptable so that, in particular, a substantially conventional filter system can be connected thereto other than as described in the above. embodiment of Figures 8, 9 and 10.
According to another feature of the present invention, a ladder 79 is mounted on the deck portion and more in
particularly connected to the first housing portion 32 as shown substantially in FIGS. 2 and 3. This ladder 79 provides access to the interior of the liquid container in a conventional manner
