Abstract
Title cpds. of formula (I): (where R=H, 1-6C alkyl, 3-6C cycloalkyl, 2-7C acyl, tetrahydrofuran-2'-yl, tetrahydropyran-2'-yl, or 4'-(1-6C alkoxy)-tetrahydropyran-4'-yl). The cpds. (I; R=3-6C cycloalkyl) are novel, and are prepd. by condensing (I; R=H) with a cycloalkyl halide. Cpds. (I) assist the destruction of toxins by the liver, protect liver tissue, and facilitate the repair of damaged liver tissue.
