Abstract

Method comprises pumping effluent through an electrolytic cell of the type having two, opposed, principal electrodes with a number of inter. auxiliary electrodes. Basically, the new cell employs a large number of closely spaced, auxiliary electrodes between the main electrodes, the spaces between electrodes being filled with electric insulating material which prevents relative movement as well as any possibility of short-circuiting.
