Abstract

A flanged to plate is divided by through circular holes into a no. of cells and is clamped, using upper and lower seals on to a membrane supported by a corresp. pierced plates below it and with a rim gasket pressed onto a shoulder around the lower chamber within the frame to which the cell plate flange is fixed by screws, this chamber having dialysate inlet and outlet connections. The individual samples are placed in the cells in the top plate, each having an individual O ring seal around it on the bottom of that plate. Simple cheap freedom from error in sample identification.
