Prepn. of simulated mother's milk, pref. for nursing infants, by mixing its constituents, partic. by mixing and homogenising milk serum after removal of the anions of weak acids, with pri. albumenoid materials ppted. suddenly at the isoelectric point at pH 4.4-5.1 as well as with fats, vitamins and mineral substances and then adding lactose (6-8% of the mixt) and if desired, other nutrients, esp. other carbohydrates.
