The title cpd. (I) is prepd. from 4'-(2,4-difluorophenyl) phenol and CO2 in the presence of an alkali metal carbonate (I) is an antiinflammatory agent suitable for oral administration in daily doses of 50 mg-10 g with reduced side effects.
