Abstract

Title cpds. are prepd. by (a) saponification of 16-epi-vincamine and precipitation at isoelectric pH of the Zwitterion of vincaminic acid which is esterified by the methods of parent patent BE 774422 or (b) by transesterification of vincamine with a disubstd aminoethanol using an alkali metal alcoholate as catalyst. The dihydrochlorides of morpholino-ethyl-, pyrrolidino-ethyl and piperidino-ethyl-vincaminates are new cpds.
