Capacitor having a low temp. dependence of permittivity over a wide temp. range (-50 degrees C to 130 degrees C) comprises alternate layers of (a) fired ceramic contg. (mole %) BaTiO3 (93 - 96) PbBi4Ti4O15 (2.5 - 4.75) and one of BaO.Nb2O5, BaO.Ta2O5, PbO.Nb2O5 and PbO.Ta2O5 (1.0 - 2.25) and (b) Pd - contg. electrodes comprising up to 90 (50 - 90) wt.% Pd, together with Au or Pt.
