Abstract
A gas storage vessel comprising a plurality of hollow cylindrical stub pipes soldered together to form a jointed toroidal gas-tight structure. Each joint is encompassed by a supplementary hollow coil perforated at its inside diameter to communicate with the main toroidal chamber. The storage gas is admitted to the supplementary chambers to percolate the entire storage space. The installation presents a low profile reducing wind forces on the structure to a minimum.
